Hmm.. Today was kinda interesting..
Installing things in reverse, because apparently the usual forward way is "dodgy" and we can't do it..
Anyway, I'm having fun in class; writing blogs and downloading from my favourite album site.. :> For which the teachers would kill me.. :< But I have a sort-of excuse, I can't download from home cos IPrimus my ISP screwed me over, it started when my dad called Tel$tra asking about ADSL pricing and plans, they were going to send us some information in the mail, so they did, but in the documents they sent us were acceptance forms to switch over to Telstra for phone and Internet, which we weren't yet sure that e wanted to, because my mum wants to get an ISP Plan that has bundled phone and Internet cos she thinks it's cheaper, it may be, but you end up paying more per-month than you would with having a separate phone and ISP bills.. Anyway, we sent the papers back to Telstra telling them we didn't want to sign up with them and we were only enquiring about pricing, a week later (last week) when my mum went away on holidays, our Internet went down and wouldn't come back up and after much of my own troubleshooting I had my dad call Tech-Support at IPrimus and find out the problem, they said to test our network again and to do an isolation test, which is where you disconnect the other lines and singularly connect the modem and see if it will connect by itself, ours didn't and I told the tech guy it didn't he said it could be the modem cos everything was working on their end, and he said they would get the other system techs to look at the problem and/or send someone out to look at it, a week later when my mum got back I had her call them about it, we were on the phone for 2½ hours with various people getting transferred a whopping 8 times and getting no help at all, we finally got on to someone in the Sales department that told us our connection had been churned to Telstra and that we had been disconnected from IPrimus because of that very reason, we had NOT left and we were told that Telstra had ILLEGALLY churned us over.. We contacted the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman registered our complaint then caled IPrimus and had them re-connect our ADSL, I have one thing to say, HOW FUCKING INCOMPETENT CAN THESE PEOPLE GET..!!!?? they have no right to change our connection whatsoever without our prior consent we DID NOT change our connection over to anyone and we want our connection restored be to what it was before and we want to be in the exact same position coming to the end of our contract and I so don't want to have to pay for this last month because I was hardly connected so that was unacceptable, we shouldn't have to pay for a service that was not provided..
As soon as they re-connect us I will be finding a new ISP to churn to just to spite the IPrimus retards, and I won't be paying the last month bill..
Other than that rant about my net the day was good.. XD Got 21 albums too. XD
